Balance your hormones naturally by sneaking this super food into your life, with a superfood smoothie each day. This could be breakfast or any meal of the day or even a snack, you can’t go wrong with these great tasting smoothie options

Chocolate Maca Smoothie

 2/3 cup almond milk

 1 banana

 1 scoop vanilla plant-based protein powder (optional)

2 teaspoons Maca powder

 1/2 tablespoon cacao powder

 6 ice cubes

Strawberry & Vanilla Maca Smoothie

1 medium banana – frozen or fresh

1 cup of strawberries

1 cup almond milk or plant-based alternative

2 tsp maca powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

6 ice cubes

Peanut Butter Maca Smoothie

2 large frozen bananas

1 cup plant-based milk

1 tablespoon natural peanut butter

2 teaspoons of maca powder

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Blueberry Maca Smoothie

1 cup of organic vanilla unsweetened almond milk
1 cup of organic blueberries
1 tablespoon of raw almond butter
2 teaspoons of maca powder
2 tablespoons of hemp seeds
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
3/4 cup fresh spinach leaves

Green Smoothie with Maca

2 cups chopped frozen pineapple

1 cup fresh spinach

1 frozen chopped banana

1/2 avocado

2 tablespoons almond or nut butter

2 teaspoon maca powder

2-3 cups water or plant-based milk

Creamy Maca Smoothie

1 frozen banana

1 cup non-dairy milk

2 pitted medjool dates

2 tsp maca powder

½ tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp ground flax seeds

2 tbsp almond butter

1 scoop plant based protein powder

1 teaspoon of raw honey

Ice as needed

Chai Maca Smoothie

2 bananas, previously sliced and frozen

1 tablespoon almond butter

2 tsp of Maca powder

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon hemp seeds

1 medjool date, pitted

1/2 teaspoon cardamom

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

pinch of black pepper

1 teaspoon of Maple syrup

1 1/4 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Recipe Hints

  • Simply throw all ingredients in a blender or Nutri bullet
  • Add any extra superfoods you like
  • Use any plant-based milks for these recipes: Cashew, Macadamia, Oat, Rice or Coconut milks

  • If you are struggling with the taste of Maca, start with a small dose of 1 tsp and add extra organic maple syrup or raw honey to your smoothies
